    INFLIBNET REGIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM IN LIBRARY AUTOMATION (IRTPLA)

Program

Manonmaniam Sundaranar University Library in collaboration with the Information and Library Network (INFLIBNET) Center, Ahmedabad is going to conduct 2nd INFLIBNET REGIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM IN LIBRARY AUTOMATION (IRTPLA) from 26.03.2012 to 30.03.2012 at the University of Manonmaniam Sundaranar University. This program imparts hands-on training in library computerisation focusing on the SOUL software developed by the INFLIBNET. Library professionals from Colleges, Universities and Research Organizations are encouraged to take part in this program.

Covers

The 5 days program will cover the basics of library automation and practical training will be given in the use of SOUL software that is ideal for the housekeeping operations of large academic libraries. Apart from separate Sessions on all the modules of SOUL and its practical sessions, training will cover the following topics also
